Players Band Together to Raise $10k for the Malala Fund

A group of intrepid The Secret World players have joined together in an effort to raise $10,000 for the Malala Fund, founded by Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner in history. The project is being undertaken without any company or corporate sponsorship or endorsement and has worked via social media and events to raise nearly $7,000 already.

Malala and her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, co-founded the Malala Fund to speak on behalf of girls around the world. The organization sheds light upon the impact of girls’ education and empowers girls everywhere to find their voices and demand change in the face of social, economic, political, and legal factors.

The TSW Malala Project has worked directly with the Malala Fund throughout the campaign. “The people at the Malala Fund have been extremely supportive and encouraging. This project would have been significantly more difficult without their partnership,” said Barnes.
