Eskil Steenberg, the lone developer behind the upcoming MMOG, Love, has announced that a playable alpha test of the game is now available. There is a small catch, however. Due to the fact Mr. Steenberg will have to run servers for the test, a modest fee of 3 Euros is required for anyone who wishes to participate. The game is in an alpha stage, so if you are not inclined to deal with all that may entail, you may be better suited to waiting for the game's actual release.
You may download the client in order to make sure the game will run on your machine before you drop the 3 Euros, as the game world is displayed at the game's menu screen.
Project updates can be followed at Mr. Steenberg's twitter.
