Phase 2 of O:MFG Deployed

The second phase of the optimization patch for PlanetSide 2 has been deployed according to a press announcement from Sony Online Entertainment. The O:MFG update includes engineering updates and an overhauled Esamir.

Along with these improvements, those on the front lines will notice that "Auraximas" is in full swing! Winter festivities include giveaways, holiday inspired items, Marketplace sales and more.

To further celebrate Auraximas, from today until Jan. 8, 2014

, players can work on their accuracy by taking out snowmen located throughout Esamir. In addition to gaining XP, players will be awarded the "Snowblower" title if they can put away 10 or more of the frosty scoundrels.
