Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, is a mix between a new a standalone expansion and, almost a new game entirely. With that in mind, over the past few weeks, the Phantasy Star Online 2 official twitter accounts have been tweeting about the classes players will get to play with- and unsurprisingly, they have all been very familiar!
All of the classes “introduces” thus far are very well known, as they have been part of PSO2 for some time, but what’s really cool about these introductions is that they show off some of the new abilities these classes have. The 6 classes and their new abilities are as follows:
- Hunter: Photon Art – Avenge
- Ranger: Rifle Grenadier
- Force: Resta Field Force
- Fighter: Knuckle Attack Esctra
- Gunner: Stylish Roll Strike Back
- Techter: Restafield
You can check out each of the tweets that have some awesome pictures on the official PSO2 twitter account, though the shared tweets from the Japanese twitter do not seem to be direct translations.
Time to take a look at another class found in PSO2 NEW GENESIS! ??The Force performs long-distance elemental attacks, also known as Techniques. Their Weapon Action is a guard (similar to the Hunter) so that they may keep themselves safe in battle! ? #PSO2NGSglobal https://t.co/Kp5qiPq2l5

Here's another class found in PSO2 New Genesis! ???Known for their mid-range combat prowess, the "Gunner" uses Twin Machine Guns to take down foes and soars through the air with stylish rolls. Rack up hits and activate a chain attack for massive damage! #PSO2NGSglobal https://t.co/HwEByNyFuJ
