Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis has a new update, with a new NGS Headline detailing everything from the final part of Chapter 6 of the Main Story, Kvaris updates, new characters, a level cap increase to 85, and more.

Chapter 6 of the Main Story is set to conclude with the last part released in today’s update. If you need a refresher, Aina is working as a training instructor for new ARKs, but is unsettled. She meets new recruits, Rikul and Ruka, and has some difficulty training them, so proposes a special long-distance recon exercise to get things going in the right direction. Things go in the right direction and the new recruits get successfully trained? Well, Chapter 6 is coming to an end so you'll have to play to see how that story concludes.

As part of the update, the level cap is raised to 85. New players can get an even faster start with the quality of life tweak that now lets you skip the prologue (and save it for later if you want) on any character, even your first. A few balance changes for the Ranger and Gunner are also in the update, along with some increases in charge phases for some Photon Arts, updated effects, and even some new class skills.

Kvaris gets some extensive updates, with all fields getting updated, increased levels for Ancient enemies, Giants and Gigantix appearing (with increased enemy levels), and new Starless Dread enemies to replace some of the bosses in the region. Combat sector Belugana Ruins also gets a new Rank, new Starless enemies, and more. Non-bosses will also begin to drop 10 star weapons and 9 star armor. Some of the other bosses and mobs have been adjusted to make them easier to defeat, and there have been more red containers in different areas.

The  team is also adding a new theme to The Creative Space–Kvaris. Enjoy adding the frigid spirit of the region to your custom locations. New options include the ability to adjust Build Parts even more, earn Genesis points by completing limited time tasks, and visit your friends’ spaces.

A number of other improvements all over, and the ability to Auto join a party. if you toggle this setting on you'll automatically join together to form a party under certain conditions that you set.
