Phantasy Star Online: New Genesis is a new world filled with dangerous new enemies called DOLLS, along with the savage wildlife surrounding Central City. The official PSO2 twitter account has outlined several of the new enemies that players will encounter in New Genesis later this year.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis recently finished its second Japanese closed beta test. The closed beta went pretty well despite a few bouts of emergency maintenance along the way. Closed beta players were introduced to many of the enemies that were teased over the past week. One category of enemies from the closed beta are known
Let's take a look at some Sylvant-like enemies from PSO2 called FORMERS that appeared in the recent JP CBT. ?????These are called Udan Lore, Crag Bear, Ard Banser, & Ard Banshee! There will be others to see in the wild as well!~ #PSO2NGSGlobal https://t.co/p1SspCILph

ARKS operatives know how dangerous some of the FORMERS can be, but players will certainly appreciate the new updated models in New Genesis. The next set of enemies introduced from the closed beta were the ALTERS, which are new enemies that we haven’t seen before. The team states that ALTERS can be identified by their shared characteristics, such as their eyes.
Here's enemies from the recent JP PSO2:NGS CBT! ???The enemy type ALTERS features enemies like the speedy "Lizard" & "Evil Angel" who attack from the air. The creepy eyes on their bodies are a shared trait. ??They're weak to fire, so use elemental attacks! ?? #PSO2NGSGlobal https://t.co/mAJNA8Sevd

ALTERS will also have bosses that players will need to watch out for. The Chiacurio is a support enemy that can strengthen other ALTERS nearby, like the Wowlon, that uses powerful melee attacks to devastating effect.

ALTERS and FORMERS will roam the land, and make things a little difficult to explore, but they pale in comparison to the dangerous DOLLS that the team has unveiled. In the closed beta test, we ran into a few of these DOLLS and they are formidable. The Bujin is a small, swift combatant that they liken to a ninja.
