Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is set for some new additions in the spring update, in addition to the third anniversary campaign, new Leciel Exploration updates, and more to celebrate.
A packed, festive spring was unveiled in the latest NGS Headline. PSO2 NGS’ 3rd anniversary campaign will begin on April 24th. The campaign, Halpha's Super Origin Festival, will run all the way through the anniversary in June. There will be a number of limited campaigns, limited time events, and new content in game for this big celebration, held across Planet Halpha. Decorations will be all over Central City, and there will be something to mark the event in all regions. In each region’s exploration section, there will be Mischief Symbols. Travel around throughout the world and explore each region to seek those symbols.
Your navigator throughout the event will be Xiemi, and she is going to need some help in her investigation of some off happenings in Halpha. Xiemi’s shop will be home to the 9-star rarity Aeoni Dekelion weapon series in exchange for points. These weapons have +80 Enhancement level and come with Potential already unlocked through level 6, so their six Augment slots are also usable right away. These weapons are ready to go as soon as you get your hands on them.
There will be more new weapon series added, Xover weapons, at 10-star rarity, and 11–star rarity Wingard weapons. The latter drop from a new Major Target Suppression Mission coming April 17th.
A Limited-time Urgent Quest: Happy Rappy Rumble: Stia is also coming, with all of the rappies you could want. As you defeat enemies in the urgent quest, the more festive the environments and the event grounds become. Of course, there are new and returning rappies too.
Also on the way are new Leciel Exploration updates, with some changes. Player ability buff enhancement items are coming, and the enemies will have higher levels. There is also a new enemy Giruva, coming to a Trial. Defeat the new boss and have a chance at Ability Enhancements. This is in addition to two new Ruinus bosses, Ruine Vibras and Ruine Exegul.
There's more on the way as well, including new sweets-themed furniture and new retro furniture added to Build Parts so you can get them and learn them to decorate your Creative or Alliance spaces.
The dates on some of these vary, so for particulars, keep an eye on PSO2 or see the full video.
