Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis will celebrate 12 years of PSO2 next week, with a special event. Sega announced the special event along with more content on the way, including a limited-time quest, new mode, and Duel: Phase 5.
The Super Phantasy Festival 12th anniversary campaign will kick off next week on July 3rd. Expect Central City to be decorated and lit up, and you'll also find that Region Mags will get decorations. And of course, there will be celebratory Rappies. Welcome the Ceremo Rappies all over Halpha during the celebration.
Find Investigator Xiandy dressed for summer and speak with her to find out more about a mysterious creature known as Lillipan. Help her you'll get points to exchange and you can get rewards like the 12th anniversary stamp, Augment capitals capsules, and more.
The event will run through July 31st and feature a number of different campaigns every week to earn some new gifts and to celebrate with bonuses and buffs like rate boosts.
The Twin-Horned Raven From Beyond is the new Limited-Time Quest. This quest involves finding and battling the boss Ruine Gryphon. Quest will take place at a different location every day with various characters joining the battle along the way.
July 3rd also opens a campaign for new and returning players that will reward 100 million EXP once you reach level 20 with any class. That amount of EXP will get you up to the 87th level instantly.
On July 10th, there is a new mode coming: Line Strike, a new card-based battler within PSO2. play against NPCs or other players, ranked or unranked. and it shouldn't be surprising that one of the ways you get new cards is through scratch tickets. Line Strike also brings a new Build Part, the Line Strike Playing Board, from which you can jump into matches.
Duel: Phase 5 is coming, featuring a duel against Venogia, an enemy that Sega says will resemble one that you might have already encountered in the story quests.
