Perfect World announced officially Magic: Legends last month during The Game Awards, but we really didn't get an idea of what the actual Action/MMO would look like. Now we do thanks to a gameplay trailer via Game Informer.

Posted on the Game Informer YouTube channel, the new trailer shows some pre-alpha footage of both a Mindmage and Geomancer devastating foes reminiscent of the style of gameplay found within old ARPG games. The alpha footage didn't show a whole lot other than some spell slinging and a little bit of info into the UI itself.

Game Informer also posted a cover reveal story detailing some of the exclusive first look coverage they'll be giving Cryptic's Magic: The Gathering game over the next few weeks. According to the post, players will "[b]uild a deck of 12 cards that constantly cycle, with 4 active cards and a slew of handy abilities to smash your way through endless monsters and maps."

You can check out the trailer embedded below.
