With Tower of Fantasy set to transfer publisher to Perfect World’s servers next week, the Perfect World team is answering questions about the transition and some of what they’re planning in the future, including cross-progression.

Perfect World took over the game’s official social media accounts from Level Infinite, saying that the two teams worked together for 2 months on this transition. They point to community feedback and answer some questions. Perfect World’s ToF servers go live on February 25th, and the team is committing to “refining and elevating the gaming experience, opening a new chapter for ToF”.

When the transition happens,  there are additional rewards on the way that are in addition to previously announced compensation for account migration. Among them is the Heat Up the Transfer Event on the website. you can claim rewards that include a limited SSR of your choice and up to 30 draws.  When the new servers open, those who are still playing can claim additional rewards that include up to 100 draws, some dark crystals, a limited time outfit trial voucher and more.

Voice acting in games has been affected by the strike that is still ongoing by SAG-AFTRA voice actors. Yet, some studios have signed waivers or taken advantage of agreements that cover localization. For Tower of Fantasy, this will mean the return of some familiar voice actors in upcoming patches.

One of the other things that is made more possible by Perfect World taking over publishing is their goal to align content releases on the international servers with the mainland Chinese servers. They are working on this, with an ultimate goal of just a couple of weeks between versions on the international server and the original Chinese release.

The future also came up, and one of the things on the way is cross-platform logins. This will come  sometime this year and allow for full cross progression sink whether you play on PC, mobile, or PlayStation.

With the next version patch also on the way soon, we can look forward to more info as we get closer to the new servers’ release.
