Kakao developers have posted a new thread on the Black Desert Online forum to let players know about a big change coming to the game. Value Packages, Outfits, Costumes and Pets will soon be made available through the Market Place for in-game currency. In an effort to calm potential community concerns, the team has indicated that Pearl Abyss has placed some restrictions in the system to head off those who will try to gain an advantage by using real world cash.
[I]n response Pearl Abyss has built limitation mechanics into the game. Players will be limited to selling five items from the Pearl Shop on the Market Place per week. This compromise will still provide in game accessibility but restrict how much can be gained via real money investment.
As we have stressed in the past, your feedback is paramount to us, and that is still true. We encourage you to share your thoughts on this change as Pearl Abyss has requested.
