PAX East is getting closer, and Pearl Abyss has an update on Crimson Desert’s appearance at the upcoming Boston con, where the game will be playable for the first time in North America.
The playable demo will be available on the floor from May 8th through 11th at the Crimson Desert booth. The studio is going all out to feature booth decor that looks like the exterior walls of a castle and a setup that is designed to invoke the open world environments you'll find in the game. We'll have to see if the immersive live atmosphere that they're going for holds up when the convention opens, but we now know some more details about what you can find if you stop by the booth.
If you stop by the booth during the event and complete the demo, you'll get one of three limited edition badges. These badges will feature Crimson Desert themed designs yet to be revealed. At the booth, you'll also find a “Staglord” photo zone and a face painting station inspired by protagonist Kliff.
While we don't know exactly what the content of the demo will be just yet, or if it will differ from previous demos we saw from Gamescom and G-STAR, but since Pearl Abyss is getting ready to release the game late this year, it's likely they will reveal something new.
