Pearl Abyss is preparing us all for the release Black Desert Online: Land of the Morning Light: Seoul this week with a series of new previews and post-launch content on the way.

To kick off a week full of reveals and content, Pearl Abyss has released some new previews and a schedule of what we can expect this week and next. The big new expansion will be out on September 12th. There’s a new look at Hwanghae Province, the new region on the way.  This video showcases the main locations that you'll find yourself in when the content releases.

Within the province are Gyeongbokgung Palace, overlooking the lands majestically, Motgol Village, with scenes of people praying, and what’s left of Holbon,  with ruined buildings. The Godu Village Distillery is also there, as a bustling space for the people to gather and a place where they traditionally make liquor, soy sauce, and vinegar. Although it's not clear what is in all of the mysterious jars lined up.

Yesterday, Pearl Abyss shared a preview of some of the main cast of characters you’ll encounter. Today, there’s a preview of the new Sovereign Weapons on the way. Tomorrow, we’ll get a tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace from the GM. On Thursday, the day the expansion is set to release, we'll get a brand new official boss combat trailer.

The rest of the schedule includes a deep dive into Hwanghae & Donghae Provinces on Saturday, September 14th. On Sunday, a boss battle trailer showcasing a party raid and a Sovereign Weapon deep dive next Monday. To cap off these scheduled events on Tuesday, September 17th, expect a new look at Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Pearl Abyss has also scheduled a special collaborative event on September 18th with Korean National Gugak Center, an institute and performing arts center dedicated to preserving and promotion of traditional and historic Korean music. Given the team's in-depth work on capturing the historical influence and traditional aspects of medieval Korean culture, folktales, and music, this is a fitting cap and includes music from the expansion.
