Pearl Abyss Appoints New CEO to Focus on Mobile Platforms

Kyoungin Jung has been appointed the new CEO of Pearl Abyss, developer of Black Desert Online. Prior to coming to the new position at PA, Jung worked for Kakao Games, 4:33 and Factorial Games. He replaces previous CEO Daeil Kim who resigned in May but remains an integral part of the company and serves as the chairman of the board of directors with a special focus on game development.

According to 2p.com, Jung will be bringing a new focus to the company that includes expanded opportunities on mobile development. What his plans are for Black Desert Online remain to be seen.
