The Pax Dei team gives another status update and preview of the upcoming patch. Mainframe details some new market, economic, and social features. We're also getting a compass.

Yes, be prepared to have more direction when you try to orient yourself exploring Gallia. The compass will let you orient yourself more easily and show your waypoint marker, points of interest, and even some custom markers that you place. This should help you navigate a little faster and more easily.

Market features take up much of the newest peek into the update, which still does not have an announced date yet. The team is working to make trading more efficient, faster, and more accessible. New sort and filter options are designed to let you find what you need faster when browsing listings.

They are adding a feature called Home Valley browsing. Essentially, this provides a searchable network that lets you explore all of the markets in your Home Valley. When you find the item you want, you can set a waypoint so you can go over, maybe using your compass, and find the market that sells what you need.  They’re also planning to add a new style of market stall that expands cosmetic options.

Buildings are also getting some adjustments. New building pieces will complement cottages, huts, and half timber sets. Mainframe is also reviewing the cost of building pieces. They want to achieve consistency and simplify the process, in that they want smaller and similar pieces to cost less and larger items to be more economical. Crafting gets a change that reduces recipes to a maximum of two materials and they're getting rid of wooden pegs so as to take a little of the monotony away. They want building to be deep and customizable, but also flexible. After all, the community is creating everything, so it makes sense to make the process inviting as well as feature full.

Again, there's no date for the patch, but they have also revealed that Pax Dei will be getting additional features and new emotes.
