Pax Dei is gearing up for its early access launch later this month and it's hosting a preview weekend to give players a chance to try before they buy.

Pax Dei, which enters early access on June 18th, will see Mainframe Industries' social sandbox MMO enter its next phase of development alongside its playerbase. We covered the full early access launch announcement in our interview with the developers yesterday, but the plan is to be in this early access period for at least a year, with updates and expansions to the game bringing it ever closer to the full, fledged social MMO experience.

For those who might be on the fence about spending the money on Pax Dei, there's another chance to play the MMO as it stands today ahead of this month's launch. Running from June 7th through the 11th, Pax Dei is teaming up with multiple content creators to showcase the game, as well as give their followers a chance to join them over the weekend with a code giveaway.

Via the Pax Dei Discord:

"During this special week, content creators will engage in a series of friendly challenges designed to test their creativity, teamwork, and gaming skills. By completing these tasks, they can win various prizes for their communities, adding an extra layer of excitement for everyone involved."

Amongst the various challenges will be a content, the Villa Extravaganza, which will see communities compete to create themost beautiful village, home or castle to be judged on by the developers. During this week, creators will be giving away codes to bring their communities into the MMO, giving more players a chance to try Pax Dei and what it has to offer before dropping the $40 on a base level Founder's Pack.

You can check out a full list of creators on the Pax Dei Discord server.
