Sandbox fantasy medieval action survival MMORPG Pax Dei’s Early Access stage seems to be reaching a slow but steady popularity, to the point where Mainframe Industries has announced that two new fresh “shards,” one each in the US and EU, will open soon.
“As we mentioned in a previous announcement, we closely monitor the population on all Pax Dei shards,” the announcement reads. “Currently, both Apollo (US) and Mimir (EU) are getting full, making it difficult for newcomers to find free spots to settle and start playing.”
The new Pax Dei shards will be Sif for the US and Bran for Europe, and unlocking tomorrow, January 10th, at 2:00 a.m. PST. These new shards will be standard, not designated as roleplay.
As a courtesy, players can opt to have their characters on existing servers transferred over into the new servers through the game’s customer support services until January 31. However, this is only available to those players who don’t have a plot nor clan (nor a party), though inventory and progression will carry over, but nothing left on any plots, regardless of ownership.
Pax Dei’s additions sound necessary even after Mainframe Industries went out of its way to clear essentially abandoned plots. This seems like a sign that the game continues to grow, especially after it went on sale a few times over the past holiday seasons and brings new updates regularly.
