Path of Exile's upcoming 3.26 update still has a June release window, and as the Legacy of Phrecia event, after being extended, ends today, the Grinding Gear Games team has a new way to keep busy while you wait: Private League templates.
Last month, the team offered up the June release window for 3.26 and extended the event, which allowed everyone to experiment with Ascendencies to the tune of some quirky results. In that same post, they mentioned the release of Private League templates that will allow everyone to continue experimenting with the event content even though the official event has ended.
Here's how it will work. Next week, they will release 15 of these templates for PC and you can use them to create your own event with up to 20,000 players. They will not be customizable with modifiers. The team has worked to offer a variety for all types of players to have a shot at participating. The events are based on Settlers League. Some are simpler, as in “Just Settlers”, while others incorporate Ascendencies or use the Idol system from Legacy of Phrecia.
As one might expect, GGG also brewed up a number of events that dial the difficulty up a lot for those who want to be in the chase for glory and one-upping their own records or everyone else out there.
They've outlined a number of the event types and rules in today’s post and promise next week, we’ll see another outlining any info you'll need to know before the events begin.
