Path of Exile will be getting a new expansion update in April, and Grinding Gear Games has revealed 3.21’s title. Crucible will be out on April 7th for PC and Mac, and release for consoles on April 12th.
After teasing a title reveal to come, they announced the title with a special live reveal and a new video that opens the doors to ponder over for the next 10 days while we wait for a deep dive into the full content details of what we can expect when Crucible comes out. That stream is currently set for March 30th at 12:00 PM PDT on Twitch, where the developers will walk us through all the details, the new Challenge League, along with other content and any major changes, and likely the explanation of why they chose that title.
In addition, there will be Twitch Drops for the upcoming livestream, with a reward to be announced, likely this week. There will also be a Q&A session after the livestream reveal, with ZiggyD there to answer questions about the upcoming content.
Part of what moving onto the next chapter means is that some clearing out has begun. The Sanctum League season will end in a few weeks, along with the new content arriving, this means there is limited time left to get your hands on Kirac’s Vault Pass items and current Supporter Packs. These rewards and items will also disappear soon, to make room for what's coming next.
Some new Crucible Supporter packs and other reward info will be revealed in that March 30th stream. So, if you’re looking forward to what kinds of rewards–and challenges–the Path of Exile team has been cooking up, now we know the name of the next update, and when we’ll get all the info.
