It’s launch day for Path of Exile PC players looking to jump into the latest expansion content, Crucible.
The new content is set to go live at 4PM EDT. With the update completed, the queues are open at the time this is being published. Grinding Gear Games has also shared some important info to know before you’re ready to get into a brand new arc and all new challenges for the season.
Recently, Nick previewed the new content and what’s on the way for adventurers in Wraeclast, and the powers of the ancient titans are key among them. You'll be able to start your Crucible Farm early, because you won't need to wait until endgame to really get yourself started. you'll be able to complete Crucible encounters, and once you Channel an item, you'll see the skill tree and unlock the first skill. Items will have various types of skill trees, so it will be worth your while to keep taking on challenges and complete the encounters to get a good variety.
Grinding Gear Games is setting up this new season as one that offers much even right away, so not only is the content going live today for PC, there will be a series of overhauls to get the hang of once you get started.
There will even be a Boss Kill event to start off the Crucible League. Calling all competitors who are looking to seal themselves some glory and maybe ExileCon tickets.
To prepare for the launch of Crucible, the team prepared a series of teasers filled with info on what to expect, including the Boss Kill event and more to kick off the fresh new season.
Crucible will be live on April 12th for console players, going live at around 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
