Grinding Gear Games continues preparing us for Path of Exile 2’s Dawn of the Hunt update. Not only have they set up a livestream to show off what they’ve been working on, there’s also a free Executioner's Guillotine Unique Finisher Effect up for grabs.
As Early Access rolls on, and improvements and new content are on the way, Dawn of the Hunt will be the first major content update since the launch. The stream itself will take place on March 27th, this Thursday, At noon PDT On the Path of Exile Twitch channel. GGG team members will show what they've been working on, so now we know when we'll get a solid look at what's coming.
Watch the dev stream to find out more about what’s ahead and stick around on Thursday to any stream in the Path of Exile 2 directory with drops enabled to rack up a total of at least two hours of watch time. If you do, then you’ll be able to claim the Executioner's Guillotine Unique Finisher Effect. The drop (quite literally here if you watch the video of the effect!) will unlock for you for any 2 hours of accumulated watch time, so you don't even have to be there for the live stream, You merely have to watch at least two total hours of content between 12 noon PDT and 3am EDT on March 28th.
If you unlock the finisher, note that GGG plans to eventually release it for use in Path of Exile one. If you’re busy on Thursday, the Executioner's Guillotine Unique Finisher Effect will be in the store sometime down the road.
