Grinding Gear Games is sharing stats from the three weeks since Path of Exile 2’s first big Early Access content update, Dawn of the Hunt, was released. From the top classes to player deaths and even the least played classes, we get a snapshot of how things have been since the update launched.
The studio announced the addition of a new data analyst, who was hired from the community, not too long ago, so seeing more data offerings and stats isn't a surprise. As for those top classes, Amazon, Lich, and Deadeye took the top three slots, while Smith of Kitava and Invoker rounded out the top 5 played.
Those classes that could most use a little more love were Acolyte of Chayula (0.74%), Chronomancer, and Tactician, which each had under 2% representation each. Notably, Huntress was not in either batch, and it will be interesting to see how that class is ultimately faring.
In standard leagues, everyone died a collective 185,961,090 times. For those tackling hardcore leagues, that number was 291,112. Notably, 3.27 trillion gold was dropped, and more than 3.4 million unique map clears were achieved. Times the Arbiter of Ash was slain? 355,877.
