The folks at The Chronicles of Spellborn continue their look at Patch 1.0.2, giving details of new foes for players to encounter or steer clear of.
The Enclave is a nice place to live in, but out there on the Shards, you better be wary of some of the more unique monsters that will be populating the different zones of the game world. These monsters are called “Menaces” and are challenging hostile animals or humanoids roaming around an area, ready to attack the unsuspecting explorer.
During the December patch we implemented some of these mobs, yet, there were just the first few.
Some of you players might already have come across these Menaces in the forest of Hawk’s Landing neighbouring Hawksmouth (a big white Boar spending most of its time munching on some mushrooms and crisps) or in Aldenvault.
In the upcoming February content patch, all Menaces will be shipped to the game.
Today we would like to introduce you to some more of them and also show the new “Wanted” posters which will be scattered around the different towns and villages, telling you where these Menaces are lurking and what they are worth.
