In case you missed it, the Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen team hosted a developer roundtable for October where they discussed all things programming.

If you missed the stream, you can catch it embedded below. The stream itself has Kyle Olsen, the lead programmer of the game, taking us through the finer points of programming. For example, quality of code was brought up. Obviously, having clean and efficient code simply makes for a better product. To that end, talking about cleaning up code became a discussion point.

The discussion also provided a tease on progress on the Enchanter class. Mainly, this class is being worked on at the moment. Fortunately, as the discussion continued, it stayed understandable for the laymen and avoided technical deep dives as one may expect from a topic such as programming.

It’s presented almost as a podcast discussion, so there are no visuals present. Therefore, if you’ve got about an hour (and let’s be honest, we’re working from home these days), it’s worth a listen. Just minimize it in the background while you work.
