This week’s update for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen finally allows players to join the anticipated PvP-enabled servers, a staple of any MMORPG harking back to classic vibes.
Pantheon’s PvP server launch will come with two PvP-enabled servers to start, one for each US coast. Per the social media account, players are encouraged to use The Dead Fault (US West) as the default one to ensure as many players as possible join up, though there’s a US East one, Union of Shadow, if lag or population is an issue.
The patch also comes with its usual slew of fixes and changes; the social media post especially points out auto-combining of stackable items is back. Also, falling into the water shouldn’t be a swift death, and player pets are a little leashed in regarding far-away enemies.
The full 1.16.216 patch notes for this week are on the Pantheon site. While the patches won’t have the same frequency as the early-year weekly patches anymore, they still seem to be coming regularly, and the devs recently laid out the rest of 2025’s plans.
Servers will be coming down today at 11am PDT for a patch. Estimated downtime is 3 hours. Highlights:- PvP is now enabled on two new PvP-dedicated servers.
