Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will add guilds in the next update, bringing a key feature into the test build as Visionary Realms prepares for Early Access.
The guild rollout will include all the functionality that you might expect, like creating and naming a guild, joining, and interacting with guildmates. Since this is a test build and the feature is being added immediately, before the guild UI is ready, you'll have to use slash commands to create and manage your guild if you're in the test this weekend.
With how much of a key feature guilds are are in MMORPGs, and one so many rely on to make the most out of the experience, it makes perfect sense to move forward, even with the additional work to use the guild system in Pantheon at first.
This Saturday, brace yourselves for a true adventure - Guild features are making their debut in #PantheonMMO. ??Band together, conquer challenges, and explore the mysteries of Terminus with your guildmates. The journey awaits. ??https://t.co/xAAvZcmrzb#MMORPG | #IndieGame pic.twitter.com/nChnfBXj4e

Getting the feature into the test build where people will be present on the weekend, and letting them use it, even with the additional work, will help as they move from this big seasonal testing phase into Early Access. With the update, tomorrow those at any pledge level will be able to create and name guilds, assign guild roles, interact through guild chat, use guild tags, and get to know the system.
All of that is important testing for the team as they continue to work on the robust UI and the full feature. There's no ETA on when they expect to have the full guild UI ready, but helping them test out all the features anyway is surely going to help.
Since Early Access is set for December, things are changing rapidly as Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen moves from seasonal testing to this next phase of development. Finally, guilds are coming. Now the race to names (or exercises in creativity) can begin.
