Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is once again taking everyone into Season 3, "Land of Blood and Snow, which began its rollout over the weekend.
In a video, Joppa takes a quick look back at the seasons so far, and the feedback players have been giving the Vicarious Visions team since the seasonal model began. Season 1 opened up Avendyr’s Pass. Season featured improvements and the Overland dungeon Mad Run. Now, we’re here at Season 3, which is now open for VIP members.
This season, there's a new dungeon to keep everyone on their toes, in the biggest update they’ve had so far. In addition to the brand new dungeon, Hanggore, those testing out season 3 will get the first crack at the new climate and acclimation system. And if the “snow” in the title of the season update wasn't enough of a clue, it's going to be cold.
In these cold, mountainous environments, you'll also get to meet the North Tusk Orcs, a new NPC type, along with their leader. The acclimation system will help you survive the frigid environments, And you'll have to test out the build in order to learn all of the intricacies, but you'll have to discover and equip a number of glyphs that will help you endure the temperatures and the harsh environment as you seek the Orcs.
The season also features a number of performance optimizations, increased experience gains, some updates, including outfitting, and more. There are also some new enemies and new challenges.
VIPs are currently able to test the content, Champions can join on June 8th, and those at the Supporter level can jump in on June 15th.
