Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is Replacing All of its Testers, Opening Applications With New Rules

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen has discontinued its current testing arrangements and is opening up applications for a whole new slate of testers.

This newly-formed testing pool comes with some strict rules. You were helping them test the game in their voluntary testing program, now you'll have to apply over again. This means all of the existing testing arrangements are canceled. If you are still interested in helping  the Visionary Realms team in testing content, you'll have to fill out an application.

The rules around testing if selected, you'll have to communicate on a private voice server with others,  using only  legal names. You will not be able to reveal any usernames, Discord handles,  guild names or character names. No groups or guilds will be considered as a unit.

If you’re accepted to the new testing cohort, expect an email confirmation and a strict confidentiality agreement. No being able to tell anyone you're participating. The Pantheon team will review all participation quarterly to make sure all testers are keeping up and contributing. If they remove some testers, it seems like they'll go back to the application pool to fill any gaps, so they do insist everyone apply just once. It won’t help your chances anyway.

All of this follows a previous community update where the team set some rules around testing and announced that official communication would be streamlined and approved. At that time, they also said they would no longer be working with a guild they had collaborated with on pre-patch testing and would keep testers off of live servers and no longer work with pre-arranged guilds in the way they had to avoid “any perceived risk of one guild receiving unfair advantages”.

Seems they've decided that starting over was the best option.
