The Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen team has a new dev update on the first of its playtest seasons and progress made since the opening of access for VIP accounts.
Season 1: Into the Pass has so far seen the addition of a brand new zone in Avendyr’s Pass, with the opening of the overland area. In the season update blog, the team also notes more content added with the season and in subsequent patches. There are new points of interest to discover, more gathering nodes, and new mob encounters. There’s even a new pet, the Shaman wolf, to accompany you on your journeys.
On the technical side, the Pantheon team added new audio for AVP and Thronefast and assist updates. Additionally, there have been a number of bug fixes and tweaks in response to player feedback and data. After all, the format is seasonal, but it is still an in-development game and these are active playtests.
Under the new Seasonal testing format, Season of the Pass has exclusively been available to those with VIP accounts. On March 16th, it will open for two weeks of access for Champion level, and later in the month, one week access for Supporters beginning March 23rd.
Season 2: The Mouth of Madness will begin this schedule all over again, with VIPs getting access on March 30th. In the seasonal update, expect another new region, updated lighting, and more fixes and tweaks.
