Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen announced the first of its weekly Wednesday patches that bring changes of all sizes to the game in Early Access. The MMORPG recently finally reached a full-time Early Access phase in December ten years after its unsuccessful Kickstarter, touting 40k unique players joining the game through its new development stage.
On Monday, the developers announced a regular update schedule on Pantheon’s Discord server, where they’ll be doing their official announcements and communications. Updates will come every Wednesday, starting with today's patch.
The first weekly Wednesday patch for Pantheon will include not only fixes and changes, but also a touch of new content to tackle, too. There’ll be new content in Avendyr’s Pass for solo players and groups of all sizes for levels 15-20 or so.
A few quality of life changes are coming, too. It seems like they’ve made adjustments for players to “feel a bit more powerful” against any mobs that are a lower level, and mob post-death timers above levels one and two have been changed: loot is free-for-all after four minutes, and mobs vanish altogether after seven minutes.
There are also some minor but notable changes in regards to AFKing. Servers that are too full will be marked as such on the selection screen, and players will need to find another shard under the same server name. Also, players who AFK too long in the selection screen will be given a little dialog box telling them they’ve been logged out.
Some bug fixes are present, too, especially fixing Steam settings getting lost, and mouse sensitivity settings not properly working as marked. The full patch notes are in the Pantheon Discord.
