Pocket Pair, the developers of Palworld, have announced that their new survival creature collector has sold over eight million copies in just six days since release.
It is no secret that Palworld has taken the world by storm over the last few days, as the headlines are all filled with sales numbers and reviews on the new game. The developers have shared via Twitter that they have reached eight million sales since launch, and mention that they are still working out a few bugs and issues fans have had so far.
The game seems to capture people instantly, as there were over 1.5 million people in-game over the weekend according to Steam Database. That number reached an all-time high for the game this week on Steam alone, which was over 2.5 million to date. One can only imagine the number of concurrent players across all platforms.
Palworld does come with a few huge bugs and errors, though, as Xbox users struggle to play with friends on live servers. There are also a few known issues with multiplayer servers in general, but it seems Pocket Pair is paying attention and trying to mend as many bugs as possible.
Palworld also had a mini patch today, which fixed a loading screen bug, a world date bug, and incorrect text prompts, and they even addressed a few of the known exploits and cheats that players have found.
We’re working on our review right now for this early access game, so be sure to check out our Palworld review in progress for more.
