Palworld has announced its first merchandise in the form of three plushies of three different “Pals” featured in the survival monster-capture labor simulation action RPG.
The first plushies in this line consist of a smug-looking Cattiva, a very relaxed Chillet, and a Depresso with, of course, a pickaxe. “Everyone’s Favorite "Depresso Pal Plush" is working hard with his pickaxe on his hand!” reads the description of the latter in a tone that really matches modern and media standards of subversion through joking about mental health and labor.
This is the first major step in the newly-announced partnership venture, Palworld Entertainment Inc, which also includes Sony in an attempt to expand the IP beyond its hit game through merchandising and licensing.
The plushies are currently up for sale on the official Aniplex website, and are still available at the time of writing. However, the announcement states that they’ll only be part of a limited run, and once they’re gone, they’re gone—so if you need this in the backgrounds of your streams, you might want to jump on this.

And as a hidden-power-level anime fan, I need to editorialize for a minute: I’m glad Aniplex is alive and involved in merchandising, given the hell of the growing Crunchyroll monopoly in the anime industry. Aniplex has always been at the forefront of anime- and anime-adjacent ventures in America between their show and game choices and actual merchandise. I recall great official merch for their Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and Durarara!! distributions hitting the shelves with measured expedience and quality (including a Gurren Lagann drill necklace I swear is hiding in my collection with a Haruhi Suzumiya band)... Anyway.
Each plushie is priced at $26.99 (before shipping and tax), and is only available in a few countries for now—USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Assumedly, the licensing deal is aimed on expanding this reach, but that’s yet to be seen in action.
