The very first Raid boss, Bellanoir, has finally made their way to Palworld in the latest v0.2.0.6 update, and there are some very helpful new items along with a summoning altar that isn’t for the faint of heart.
Palworld was a massive hit when it initially released, breaking records and bringing massive amounts of players around the world to the Palapagos Islands in search of rare and impressive pals. Today, the Raid Boss update has gone live, bringing new items such as the Recovery Meds which finally give players the opportunity to heal HP while out and about defeating bosses and collecting Pals. This is extremely useful, as before there was no way to really recover HP while away from the base or waiting for food to give a bit of a boost.
More so, there are a couple Pals that will now drop useful items when placed in the Ranch. Kelpsea will drop Pal Fluid while working in the Ranch, and Dumud will give High Quality Pal Oil, making farming these reagents much easier than traveling about looking for Pals to collect or slay.
One of the biggest things to hit the game is easily the Summoning Altar, which allows players to place an Altar within the bounds of their base to use to summon Bellanoir, the new Raid Boss. To get the recipe for the Altar, players must be level 33 minimum to unlock it in the Technology Tree, then be at least level 42 to craft an Assembly Line II to put the Slab Fragments together that will make the Bellanoir Slab down the line.
Placing the completed Slab within the Altar will summon a level 30 Bellanoir Raid boss who cannot be captured, but the Pal has a 100% chance to drop a Huge Dark Egg that will spawn a Bellanoir once incubated. This is currently the only way to secure a Bellanoir Pal, but taking them down is no easy feat even with the help of all the Pals in the base.
