During Summer Game Fest 2024, we learn that Palworld will be receiving its first major update titled Sakurajima later this year.
Palworld teased a major update earlier this year with a singular screenshot, and today we learn that there is an entirely new island coming. The images that were posted to Twitter speculated a new area to explore, but this new trailer seals the deal as it confirms that new area, filled with new pals to collect and defeat.
In that initial teaser image posted by Pocket Pair, we did catch a glimpse at a few pals during the Xbox Showcase, but today we learn there are several coming within the new island bounds. Alongside new pals, a new location, and a new raid, we also learn that Xbox players will now have access to dedicated servers and that there will be even more buildings to craft. More so, the max level cap will be raised, though we don’t have any information as to what the new max level will be as of yet.
Palworld took the world by storm upon its release, breaking records and creating a massive fanbase for the creature-collector title that at gives off those Pokemon vibes. There are several more changes to come with this update, including a new faction, boss, subspecies, stronghold, arena, and more that will all become available on June 27 of this year.
