Palia’s Season of Splendor update is now live. The content update lets you help Subira investigate some mysterious happenings in four new quests that concludes the prologue’s main storyline. The update also makes changes to a number of the temples, sets up the Winterlights event, with new and returning items and activities, new plushies, and more.
This is a pretty big update and some of the content will roll out gradually. Winterlights is coming on December 3rd, so this means the Autumn content will end as Kilima gets wintery. If you have any last minute Autumn stuff to do, including buying anything at the Spooky Moon Shop, you have a little more time to get that done. On December 3rd, the Maji Market will also return for one week.
When the event begins, there will be six new recipes to get from the Winterlights store, including new ornaments, and even a snowy tree. There will also be returning items to decorate with winter goodness with snow mounds, ice patches and, of course, presents. The team has tweaked how you're able to get recipes for items, which should mean that players should be able to get everything they want during the event time. Winterlights treasure chests are back, in new locations this time.
The Season of Splendor update adds new pond plushies. Four of them. Cast your fishing rod into a pond and you may reel in a Yellow Koi, Red Koi, Mudminnow, or Kilima Catfish Plush. With plush trading recently added, if you catch too many catfish, and you're missing a red koi, this might be a way to complete the collection.
New housing tour store options were added, along with a compass on housing plots to make exit locations to Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay clear. The maps get improvements that make everything clearer, so you and any visiting friends should be able to navigate more easily. These are just some of the improvements to housing.
If your character design has been getting a little stale, there are four new free hairstyles and 10 new free hair colors to use. For more customization, the premium store gets a number of updates, including an RPG-inspired Hometown Hero outfit and Hometown Hero tool skin. There’s a new Wol pet in multiple color options. The store has also added new premium emotes.
More details are in the full notes, including a number of fixed issues this time around.
