On August 2nd, cozy sim Palia will enter closed beta, with an open beta to follow the following week. Before the closed beta begins, there will also be one more stress test on July 25th.
The closed beta will begin on August 2nd in North America and Western Europe, with support for English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. Invites will be sent on a rolling basis. More regions, and more languages, are planned for future updates.
If you don't make it into the July 25th stress test or the closed beta in early August, open beta will start on August 10th. If you sign up and are selected for the stress test or closed beta, you will keep your account progress from closed beta, open beta, and beyond that.
Singularity 6 is presenting a special gameplay livestream on July 18th at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time on Palia’s YouTube channel. Expect an in-depth look at the community sim’s gameplay, and likely more on systems and features like customization, social systems, farming, housing, and more of what you’ll be able to do once Palia welcomes players.
Back in March, the team revealed that Palia had already had more than 20,000 playtesters, and had received over 600,000 applications to test the game. This level of Interest shows strength in the genre and wanting to have a customized social engaging community where you can make connections and emphasize on players working together.
Over the past several months, the Palia team has been revealing more details about the systems, characters, friendship, activities, and monetization. With the announcement that the game is coming to Nintendo Switch this holiday season, curiosity about when we might expect the PC version to be out ramped up.
Now we know just when players can begin their own journeys.
For more and to sign up, head over to Palia.
