Palia has made its debut on Nintendo Switch today, bringing Singularity 6’s cozy sim to the platform. In addition to a cross-progression launch, there are new reward opportunities, Twitch Drops, and more to welcome new players.
The game will introduce you to Kilima Village and its residents, who you can get to know, befriend, interact with, and potentially, for some, even share a romance with. There are options to build and furnish a home, seed and harvest crops, hunt, fish, craft, and much more. The team has put together a getting started guide for newcomers to Palia.
If you are new to the game and link a Palia account with a Nintendo account (you don’t need a paid Nintendo Switch Online account to play) you can grab a new Mushroom Glider you can use to sail around the terrain and a new Leapfroggy Outfit. Log in today, launch day, for another reward, the Freshly Painted Froggy Bucket, a new version of a fan-favorite item. T
witch Drops are also now in play through December 29th. There are five total items to claim in two waves. From December 14-21st, watch 1 hour to claim your first Purple Palcat set item and 2.5 hours for the second item, a Palcat plushie. Those items go into the vault after that. From December 22-29th, watch 1. 2.5, and 3 hours to complete your set with some more Palcat items for your home and a pair of shades too.
The launch is cross-platform with cross-progression, so when you link your accounts, this means you’ll be able to pick up and play from either PC or Switch and still maintain your home, inventory, and of course, community and friendships.
