Palia is coming to Steam on March 25th, and Singularity 6 revealed that the total number of players across all platforms so far has reached three million.

The cozy MMO has attracted a lively community since its launch back in August. The company also announced that they have more than 300,000 on the official Discord. These numbers are not that surprising, since even ahead of release when the team was simply taking sign-ups for playtesting, there was a robust response showing interest in the game but also this more social, cozy genre.

There’s currently a campaign running to get interested players to wishlist the game on Steam ahead of the launch. There is a special in-game plushie that will be made available across all platforms, and for every 100k wishlists, that plushie will get bigger until a potential max size at 500k. They’re currently sitting at more than 300k wishlists for the Frogbert plushie. The plushie will be a gift for all, but you can help decide how big it will get.

The Steam release is the latest platform to get Palia, which will be fully cross-platform, with cross-save across all platforms when it releases. The official site and Epic Games Store have made the game available on PC, and a Nintendo Switch release happened during the holidays.

In a press release announcing the numbers, Singularity 6’s Yu Sian Tan, the director of business strategy at the company, says, of the growing presence across platforms:“Over the past six months we’ve streamlined our development process and delivered more quality-of-life improvements, captivating new content, and memorable in-game events. Our goal is to make Palia available to anyone that wants to play; and bringing the game to new platforms, including Steam, is the next step in making that goal a reality”.
