Valheim continues to surge in popularity seeing over 360,000 concurrent players this weekend.
The data arrives via Steam Charts which has charted its player count since release. As of this writing, Valheim reached a peak of 364,629 players on Sunday. This followed a peak of over 345,000 on Saturday.
The game released on Steam Early Access on February 2 and has been met with overwhelmingly positive reviews. This is developer Iron Gate’s first game and sees players explore and survival the purgatory realm, Valheim.
We wrote up our impressions after a few days in the game, which you can read here. We really like the crafting system, the food mechanics, and the sheer exploration of the game. Be aware of a rare but pretty bad bug which sees character saves erased. It was tweeted out earlier by Iron Gate CEO Richard Svensson,
