Earlier at Son'y "State of Play," Chinese Developer MiHoYo showed off a trailer of its upcoming open world RPG, Genshin Impact. The upcoming title will be hitting this Autumn 2020.
The "Breath of the Wild-clone" was shown off a bit earlier this year, with many commenting on the clear influences from the latest Zelda title, though finding out that Genshin Impact isn't really the clone everyone thought it might be. Yes, there is gliding and climbing uses a stamina meter that bears a resemblance to BotW. Heck, one look at the style and you might be convinced that this could be an anime-inspired Zelda mod. However, Genshin might have more going for it than meets the eye, telling a compelling story while allowing you to explore the world with over 20 different characters.
While we don't know too much about exactly when PlayStation fans will be able to dive into the world of Genshin Impact, we do know it's slated to launch this Autumn.
