Elteria Adventures¸ an upcoming online sandbox RPG, has received an update in addition to an Open Alpha starting today as part of the Steam Games Festival.
The open alpha period will run from today through October 13 at 10a PT. The latest update brought with it several improvements including a graphics overhaul, new light and environmental effects, and quality of life improvements.
The update also brought a new tutorial to help teach new players. New cool weapon types as hammers and scythes and huge item rebalances are also included. Finally, even more mechanics were added to the game.
If you’re unfamiliar with Elteria Adventures, it’s described as upcoming sandbox online RPG built on voxels. The game fuses together several game genres, aiming for greater degrees of creative freedom. Players are able to create castles and bridges, dig deep to uncover secret caverns, and level whole mountains. Skill-based combat system opens possibilities to create cunning traps by changing the environment or simply punch enemies through walls. And platrofmer-style movement urges players to jump, glide and fly their way around the beautiful floating islands.
