The Elder Scrolls Online PTR will be updated next week with the One Tamriel update that will go live in October. One Tamriel is an anticipated update that will open up the game without barriers to level. Players will be able to go anywhere and play in any order they wish while simultaneously having their characters scaled and balanced for the area.

In addition, One Tamriel will bring other new or updated features including:

  • a redesigned Craglorn that will no longer require a group to play. Group quests will be scaled to as few as two players to give the experience to everyone
  • item sets will be tied to specific dungeons and locations and will scale to a player's level
  • dueling will be added
  • holiday events will be coming, the first  being the Witches Festival in October. Each will come with unique rewards
  • Crown Crates

All the content in Update 12, including One Tamriel, will be free for all players. And remember, this September will be the perfect time for new players to jump into the game with the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition. This new product includes the base game in addition to our first four DLC game packs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood. If you already own ESO, we'll be offering the Guilds and Glory DLC bundle in the in-game Crown Store so you can purchase these DLC game packs at just 5500 crowns.
