The developers of Once Human recently ran a stream to go over recent changes and answer community questions, teasing a massive map merge in the future.
The core of the stream went over the recent releases and the choices behind them, including the new Permanent Servers, which don’t clear at the end of seasons and allow players to clear Scenarios at their own rate. Then, the devs went over live questions asked by the community, which go over a series of changes, bugs, and more that players were curious about.
One of the biggest teases is that developers are working on a way to merge two of the game’s most utilized maps, Way of Winter and Manibus, the latter of which is best known as the primary PvE map that was released with launch. They don’t have any other details for now except that it’s happening, but the devs say to keep an eye out. There’s also more general content coming, including three new Deviations and the “Endless Dream” new scenario launch in July.
In regards to nitty-gritty questions, the devs explain that cross-region item and character play won’t be possible, as all of the data is stored on different regions, and certain bugs and balancing issues are discussed.
Starry Studio released a summary of the stream, though the full stream is also available to watch above and includes an item key to pick up; meanwhile, the mobile version is only weeks away.
