Once Human has delayed its mobile closed beta until tonight, clarifying extra work was needed and giving more details on the test.
Originally set for April 11th, this date was already a delay from last week, when both PC and mobile betas were set to coincide. With the PC closed beta 3 delayed by two days, the mobile beta was pushed back about a week. The PC beta did go live, but now it seems the mobile test was pushed back for a similar reason.
In fact, the team shared an update last night saying that mobile beta had gone live before issuing a correction that read:
We regret to inform you that, due to technical issues, the preparations for the mobile test servers in CBT3 require additional time.
??As a result, the opening of the mobile test servers will be delayed until Friday, 12 April 2024 06:00 PDT.
This doesn't come as too much of a surprise, given the lack of info yesterday heading up to the original planned start time of 9pm PT. It seems that they're more prepared this time for the new time, even going for 6pm PT versus 9pm.. Both Android and iOS are supported and invites have gone out. The beta will be available in four regions–the US, Canada, France, and Germany– “due to performance and optimization limitations”.
There is even an official preparation guide shared today for those who have gotten the test invite email, showing how to download and access the beta build for your device.
