Once Human Massive Update Adds New Modes, Features, & Improvements

Update 1.1 has arrived in Once Human and while there are several major improvements, new modes, and more content to slay our way through, there have been some notable issues bubbling up on the horizon.

One notable feature of Once Human’s 1.1 update is the ability to tame wild animals, which brings new animals to Once Human as well, but these are not to be confused with Deviations we can bring home in our backpacks. The ranching feature as a whole allows us to look at survival in a whole new light, adding the ability to house and feed each animal in its specific habitat, collect resources from them as they are tamed, and some animals will even guard your homestead. There will be a breeding feature down the line in September, but that has not been implemented as of yet.

Another huge deal is, of course, controller support. The talk of the town when Once Human first launched was the inability to use a controller on PC, but the devs have resolved that. Even though there are several major features to enjoy in 1.1, there is one major issue that the devs have addressed post-update.

Crashes have been reported since the launch of 1.1, but the devs at Starry Studio have stated that they are “urgently fixing” the issue, as it is causing crashing upon opening the game. Even so, the number of concurrent players has skyrocketed once again, whether it be from the newly added controller support or fans being excited about better fishing, homesteading, and ranching.
