Once Human Makes Earning Rewards Easier, Adds Holiday and Login Gift Events, and Weapon Balance Changes

Once Human’s latest update is set for tonight, and it’s changing rewards, offering gifts of up to 87,000 Starchrom (174 Wish Machine Draws), improvements, optimizations adjustments to scenarios, and balance changes based on feedback. 

Downtime is set for tonight at 8:00 p.m. Pacific time and when the update goes live there will be a new Starchrom system, following the devs' call for feedback. Earning Starchroms won’t require participation in specific scenarios. The new Stellar Stairway system lets you earn them just by playing, up to 66,000 a month, in addition to any you might get from events or gifts. The new system will divide every month into four phases, where you can earn a set amount.  if you complete everything before the phase is over you'll have to wait for the next one to begin to continue racking them up.

To mark the new system, there’s a one time gift of 36,000 Starchroms since The update is going live so late in the month it will essentially credit you with completing phases one and two. This comes along with login rewards of 3,000 Starchroms for seven consecutive days, for a total of 21k.

The team is emphasizing balance changes, particularly weapon adjustments that are based on player feedback to a previous announcement about weapon rebalancing. they include a chart showing which weapons are getting tweaks as well as how those adjustments vary now that the community has had a chance to weigh in. Weapon blueprints now get custom nickname options. 

The update also includes new holiday events and free gifts. Whether you want to log in and claim some goodies or send some cards to others, or have a chance to unlock limited deviations and special cosmetics, these events are also in the update.
