Once Human is getting a musical new update, as its latest content is, quite literally, a musical instrument, alongside some Lunar New Year festivities. Players can now play a guitar in-game seemingly whenever they feel like it, so long as they have the recipe, and materials, and musical know-how.
The official blog with the announcement has a nifty little demo embedded so you can get an idea of what’s possible. In reality, it may be like other in-game “instruments” with clunky controls, but we all know people know how to work around these—or just manage with these clunky systems anyway.
Like everything else in Once Human, you do need to construct it with some materials, but once you do, you can jam out in-game. To start out with the recipe, potential musicians need to go out to Deadsville or Igloo Village and purchase it for 2,000 Energy Links (which is fairly achievable all considered).
This update also comes with some “Lunar Oracle” events for a belated Lunar New Year event, though to make up for it, it goes a whole two months. As usual for these sorts of affairs in Once Human, the rewards are cosmetics, including outfits and furniture. This event ends whenever an update goes out around April 17.
