Once Human continues to prepare to launch its highly-anticipated mobile version by way of a new mobile technical test. Much like its developers proudly tout of the game overall, the test will be free, and this playtest makes it available on iOS devices, Android, and the Loading Bay PC client. It went live at 8:00 p.m. PDT.

For those interested in the test, the registration is up via the mobile store pages, via the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. (These are working links, in case you’re lost on the website.) This version will also be available on the Loading Bay client for NetEase. Be quick about it—once the registration cap is reached, players won’t be able to register, and you aren't locked into the playtest until your character is made.
A Q&A page goes a little bit more into detail, and there’s a technical requirement page if you want to know if your device will handle it. According to the Q&A, all currently-released content, with no extras, will be part of the playtest, but all data will be wiped once it’s over. Mobile devices won’t be able to use controllers, but those on PC via Loading Bay can. Also, it’ll be available to players in North America, Europe, Japan, Republic of Korea, and HK, Macao, and Taiwan regions.
Once Human has been a relatively steady success already on PC, holding a steady top twenty spot on Steam; it peaked over 91,000 today alone. As mobile games are widely popular in other regions, including most Asian regions, the mobile version will more than likely bring a major boon—assuming the tests and launch go well.
