Modern post-apocalyptic survival MMORPG Once Human has announced that its next Closed Beta test will take place April 3rd, nearly a week after the prior test. The postponement was announced on the official site.
“This delay is due to necessary integration works to ensure a smoother and more immersive experience for all players,” the news post reads. In short, they just need another few days to work out the kinks.
Since we last checked in, the developers have given a more expansive look at this upcoming test in a blog post with a new multiplayer trailer. The post previews the Eternaland personalized building area and describes some of the multiplayer capabilities of the playtest, plus announces a new PvP season for the duration of the beta. Plus, there’s apparently an alpaca that pops out cookable bunnies, which is morbidly cute and probably genuinely useful.
The Closed Beta does have a cap of 150,000 launcher downloads, which, as we learned with a certain new ARPG, isn’t entirely out of the realm of possibility for games lately. The game self-describes as “SCP-inspired,” and our own team called it “Fallout 76 meets The Secret World,” with a solid review of its build back in December. The game claims an official release of Q3 this year.
