Once Human Delays Cross-Character Paid Content Sharing to Prioritize Stability Improvements

The Once Human team  continues to respond to feedback on server instability and work on additional fixes. More work on stability needs to be completed, so the team announced that there will be a delay in cross-character paid content sharing on the same account.

This feature, which allows you to share items that you purchase across all characters on your same account, was supposed to start working on August 1st. However, the team has now pushed this back by two weeks to August 15th in order to give them some more time to fix performance. The change and the delay make sense, given what they are working on, and players who did pay for their items will still have the functionality of the feature, just a little later than originally intended.

The team has continued working to apply a series of fixes, including an issue that saw  some incorrect costs and yields involving the power generator and crop harvests, a number of respawn problems,  disappearing blueprints, and more. The respawn mechanic wasn't working so people were respawning at random locations, but now all of these set respawn points should be working as expected.

Another change means that spectating is only available in Stronghold Conquest or Dungeons.

With the next major update scheduled for August 1st, we'll have to see later this week how that goes. To make up for the delay of cross-character sharing, the team will also be giving out a cosmetic gift following the update. The Formula: Upholstered Storage Chest will let you change the appearance of the Large Crate in your territory to the upholstered storage chest. Once the cross character content sharing is enabled, you'll also be able to share this among your other characters too. You can claim it from August 1st through August 15th.
